About us
Boston Cat Tías started because we couldn't find what we needed, and we figured other cat parents couldn't either.
We're two lifelong cat lovers from Dorchester who've been caring for friends' and family's cats for years. We have three special needs cats at home: Frida (14) manages diabetes with twice-daily insulin, Theo (6) has asthma and an eye condition, and Winnie (7) keeps us in check.
When we needed reliable pet sitters who could handle medical care, we kept hitting dead ends. Most sitters wouldn't do insulin injections. Others wouldn't travel to our neighborhood. The ones who checked both boxes were booked solid.
So we decided to become the sitters we were looking for.
We bring over a decade of cat care experience, including medical management, trap volunteer work, and a genuine love for even the most particular feline personalities. Your cats' comfort and health are our top priority, whether they need daily insulin, prefer to hide under the bed, or just want someone who'll respect their 3am zoomies.
